Default Ford Lehman 2722E

HELP!! Owing to the fact that a main bearing has gone on the crankshaft to my 80hp Ford Lehman (1979), a lot of replacement parts are needed. However I have found a Ford Lehman 90hp (2722E) which is up and running and looks good in photos but the Seller has no history on it, doesn't know it's age or how many hours it has done.

Do you think I would be a complete idiot to buy it especially as I have to ship it to St.Lucia as well.

Please let me have your thoughts and advice. Obviously, I am a novice and don't even know how much this engine is worth!

Will greatly appreciate your replies.
