A boat that has been continuously maintained is pretty much always a
better deal. Once a boat has been neglected for any length of time, it
becomes a bad investment in almost all cases. If you find a derelict
Swan, Hinckley, or something like that it "might" be worth
restoration.

Once a boat goes to pot it's VERY expensive to bring it back.
