Default WashDC must be cold and snowy ...

With a snowstorm for the mid-Atlantic region,
and the government in a partial shutdown, on Friday
more than 30 Democrats headed to Puerto Rico with 109 lobbyists and
corporate executives for the weekend to discuss their “shared
priorities” and to attend a performance of the play, "Hamilton".

Meanwhile, Trump sits in his office hoping for a phone call
responding to any of his numerous offers to end
the shutdown.

Too bad no one trusts Trump to make good on his promises when negotiating.

Unfortunately, there are no negotiations. He's made several offers.
The Dems have offered nothing in return. Too busy soaking up the rays
and hobnobbing with lobbyists at cocktail parties, I guess.

Once again, no one trusts him to make good on his offers. Besides, he's
been too busy this weekend not denying he is the Russian Manchurian
Candidate.

The Dems have nothing to lose, other than face, by accepting one of his offers. He opens gov back up, then they talk about the wall.

Democrats don't give a **** about the American public, they only care about themselves and being able to declare a "victory".

Harry knows this, but cares not what's best for the country. His goal is to giggle at those of us
here who do.

Are you referring to the recent NYTimes article? Heh. It was nothing
but a rehash of previous claims and events. All the author of the
article did was to re-arrange the list of ingredients of the recipe
and then publish it as if it was something "new".

One of my entertaining activities on weekends is to watch "AM Joy" on
MSNBC, just to get a clear understanding of where the progressive left
is. It really is hilarious sometimes.

Actually, the goal is to prevent Trump from being able to declare victory.
